I worked alongside Flash Media Services to translate an article pitch and subsequently write the article, including undertaking the interview and coordinating details with the editor of La Raza NW. I create content based on current tech trends for company MAQ Software, as well as business articles targeted at a technical audience. I research the content using online resources and interviewing subject matter experts. I also optimize content based on SEO best practices, leading the Power BI best practice guide linked below to be one of the company's most visited web pages:
Sustainability Reporting
Founded the sustainability team at MAQ Software as part of a new green initiative. As there was no exisiting documentation around sustainability guidelines and protocols at the company, I developed internal documentation that combined research from the CDP and Greenhouse Gas Protocol resources. I also developed our yearly sustainability report, which included deciding on our standard, calculating our current and projected figures, and writing all copy.
